据悉当地时间周六下午，弗格森来到跑马厅球场观战了雷克瑟姆与彼得伯勒联的英甲联赛。

新年前弗格森刚度过了自己的83岁生日，周六下午刚过1:15，弗格森就被球迷拍到来到了体育场。弗格森的儿子达伦是彼得伯勒联的主教练，过去四场比赛输掉三场，这场比赛达伦的目标是带领球队赢得12月14日以来的第一场胜利。
